Suffering Bastard

Going by the name if you thought this drink will make you suffer, you’re far from the real intention behind it. Accidently created in 1942 to cure a bitchin’ hangover by Joe Scialom in Cairo’s Shepherds Barkeep during the time of the Second World War. What started by Joe as he was toying around with the idea of creating an elixir for hangover, this beautiful bastard came through. The special part of which is a ginger beer, and if not, then just ginger ale will do.

Created for the troops, the target audience had been hit by the electric and refreshing taste of this drink made with Brandy and Gin. So much so that bulk orders were called by the troops as it was successful in doing the trick. The upset stomach settling power of ginger beer and the punch of lime juices mixed with two potent liquors- gin and brandy calls to be relished by raising a glass for the troops for whom this was originally created.
